These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Scanner mobile application ("the app"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple- or Google-branded devices that you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the applicable app-store rules (including Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement).

2. Subscriptions and payment

• Some features require a paid Premium subscription (weekly, monthly or yearly), which may include a free trial period.
• Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store / Google Play account settings. Unused portions of a free trial are forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Prices may vary by region and may change; changes apply to subsequent billing periods with prior notice through the store.

3. Your content

• You retain all rights to the documents you scan. We claim no ownership of your content.
• You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to scan, store and share the documents you process with the app.
• If you enable cloud backup, you grant us the limited technical permission needed to store and transmit your content solely to provide that feature.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app to infringe intellectual-property rights, forge documents, violate another person's privacy, or break any applicable law; and not to reverse-engineer, resell or interfere with the app or its services.

5. Intellectual property

The app, including its design, code and branding, is our property and is protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights to our trademarks.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. OCR output and image processing are automated and may contain errors; always verify important documents yourself.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time; deleting your account removes your cloud data.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced in the app.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
